Norman J. Gallivan, II is the founder of Gallivan Auctioneers & Appraisers and a nationally recognized expert in industrial auctions, certified appraisals, and asset liquidation. With over 30 years of experience, Norm holds the prestigious CAI designation, is a licensed real estate broker in Indiana, and is certified to appraise machinery and equipment across a range of industries. He has conducted successful auctions and valuations nationwide for banks, attorneys, and turnaround professionals, and has also served as an expert witness in U.S. bankruptcy and district courts. Known for his integrity, industry knowledge, and results-driven approach, Norm continues to set the standard in auction and appraisal services.
Matthew “Matt” Gallivan
Owner & Operations Leader
Matt Gallivan is the Owner and President of Gallivan Auctioneers & Appraisers, bringing nearly two decades of hands-on experience in auction operations, asset liquidation, and commercial real estate. Since joining the family business in the early 2000s, Matt has overseen the execution of hundreds of successful auctions and appraisals across the Midwest and beyond. A graduate of Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, he holds licenses in auctioneering, real estate brokerage, and machinery and equipment appraisal. Under his leadership, Gallivan has expanded its national reach and modernized its operations, blending tradition with technology to deliver streamlined, high-impact results for clients across multiple industries.
