An 18% Buyer’s Premium will apply to all Internet and Proxy Bids. Payment for all purchases must be made in full within 24 hours of the sale.

VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and Wire Transfers accepted day of sale. All purchases over $3,000 must be made via wire transfer. All bids and payments must be made in U.S. dollars (USD).

Everything sells “As Is/Where Is”. Descriptions are believed to be correct; the auctioneer and the owner make no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, as to the condition, authenticity of, or descriptions used in advertising. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to verify condition, authenticity, and description of any item prior to bidding. Once the auctioneer or online platform says “Sold,” the purchaser is responsible for payment and safekeeping of the merchandise.

Be aware that some lots are “Times the bid” (often written as “x the bid”) means your bid price is multiplied by the quantity in the lot.

Bid Price × Quantity = Total Amount Owed

Examples:

Lot has a quantity of 2, you bid $5 → you owe $10

Lot has a quantity of 10, you bid $25 → you owe $250

Lot has a quantity of 1 → no multiplication, you just pay your bid as-is

Removal of purchased items shall be at the expense, liability, and risk of the purchaser. Purchasers are responsible for any injury to persons or damage to property — including the auction site, structures, or other lots — caused during the removal process. Purchasers must provide a certificate of insurance if they will be using forklifts, cranes, or any large or specialized equipment for removal. All rigging must be performed by qualified, licensed riggers. Gallivan Auctioneers & Appraisers reserves the right to deny site access to any equipment or personnel deemed unsafe or uninsured.

No abandonment of purchased items is allowed. Purchaser will be responsible for paying the full cost of removal or disposal of abandoned items. If Purchaser fails to pay for their items, they agree to pay the difference in price if the item or items are resold, along with any associated costs and fees.

Gallivan Auctioneers & Appraisers reserves the right to permanently ban any bidder who fails to pay, is habitually slow to pay, or abandons purchased items. Banned bidders may not register or participate in future sales.

Purchasers acquiring items containing or associated with chemicals, hazardous materials, or regulated substances are solely responsible for proper handling, transport, and disposal in compliance with all applicable regulations. Gallivan Auctioneers & Appraisers accepts no liability for chemical spills, improper disposal, environmental contamination, or any related claims.

All photographs, descriptions, and marketing materials produced in connection with this auction are the sole property of Gallivan Auctioneers & Appraisers. Reproduction or commercial use without written consent is prohibited.

Bidders located outside the United States must designate a U.S.-based representative who will be fully responsible for payment, removal, and all obligations under these Terms of Sale. International bidder U.S. representative information must be provided at time of registration.

Bidders claiming tax-exempt status must submit a valid exemption certificate via email prior to auction day. Tax-exempt status will not be applied retroactively after the sale closes.

Gallivan Auctioneers & Appraisers reserves the right to withdraw any item from the auction at any time prior to the fall of the hammer or closing of online bidding, without obligation to any bidder. The auctioneer also reserves the right to set bidding increments and reject any bid that does not meet the applicable increment.
