THIS 2+ ACRES PROPERTY IS LOCATED IN SULLIVAN, IN. 1447 COUNTY ROAD 75 NORTH.

An outstanding example of Romanesque Revival style architecture, the Sullivan County Poor Home was designed by the architecture firm of Wing and Mahurin and constructed in 1896-7. It was known as the Sullivan County Poor Home or the Sullivan County Home until 1977, when the county changed the property’s name to the Lakeview Rest Home. The name is appropriate, since the Sullivan County Park and Lake can be viewed from the upper floor of the building. It is an imposing brick building. Its two and a half stories dominate the site.

The property is located on the North side of County Road 75 North in the town of Sullivan, Indiana. The property consists of an irregular shaped tract of land approximately 2 acres and is improved with a 12 unit multifamily building.  The site contains 20 feet of frontage along County Road 75 N.  The property is located approximately 25 miles south of Terre Haute and near the Indiana-Illinois state border. Indianapolis is approximately 95 miles northeast.
